Well yesterday was Ground Hogs day and it was weird... but in a good way.
We have been looking for a house forever! I started my hunt back in 2019 before my divorce. We were moving back to OH from OK. I was looking for our home. Then the fun stuff happened and I kept looking but could not afford anything for the boys and myself.
I kept working and saving and met my current fiancé how has been looking just as long if not longer... thank you Covid... Anyways with our wedding coming up rapidly we were trying super hard. We finally got a hit and a verbal yes... then they were like let me check with my family and came back for more money.
So we kept on hunting. Our super awesome relators were like I think we found the one.
Wednesday this week we drove way out to the fun land of Delta. We walked through this cute little home... much bigger on the inside. I liked it, my fiancé liked it, and our relator was like I like this... he never says that. Usually is I don't hate it lol. We put our offer in and wait.
Ground Hogs day... they accept. Then we have to wait some more for extra insurance quotes. Then more waiting. They accept our terms. Next is the home inspection....
Is our home hunt close to being over?
