Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
It is currently a few days from Thanksgiving and there is a plethora of things that I need to do. Well really they are not needs, they are wants. I want to make pies, I do not need to make them. I want to bake breads, but, again I do not need to do this.
Stop and take a deep breath. Tackle one thing at a time. Is there anything that you can make ahead? Breads? Pies? Side dishes? Oh, the house is dirty... no worries. Just take a deep deep breath... remember you can scream in your head all you want.. that voice does not need air. Then remember tackle one thing at a time.
Breaking things down into smaller goals helps a lot. Maybe make it a game, even if it is just for you. Or put on music that you like and dance around signing as you go. Got kids?
they can help lol.. good luck, I know I have two that I just want to manage their shared room, bathroom....
If you have not guessed by now, my thoughts are scattered and not well organized. I try but lets be honest. If I was talking to you face to face, this is how I would talk. I am very much like "Doug the dog," from UP.
Just remember you got this. It is not the end of the world. If you do not want to do something then don't do it, well unless it is for your mental health.... that might be
worth doing.
Dance, sing, play games.... cook... HAVE FUN. Just do ONE THING AT A TIME!
